Raspberry Pi

Well, it’s finally here. After 14 weeks of waiting, which is longer than I’ve ever waited for anything in my life(!), my Raspberry Pi has arrived. I must say I am very impressed with the little thing. With some pretty mediocre specs it performs just as well as the HTPC I bought it to replace. Thats an 1.8GHz Atom D525 with 4 Gb of ram and a Nvidia ION2 GPU performing just as well as a Raspberry Pi. Wow, I just love ARM and how optimised it is becoming. I havent had much time to play yet but Raspmc is up and running and it everyday use. I will install the new web IDE soon and have a play around with some python and hopefully be able to have some project interfaces as XBMC plugins.
